Is MTP legal in India?
Yes. Under the Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTP) Act, MTP is legal in India up to 20 weeks for all women (including unmarried women). In specific cases, such as survivors of sexual assault or fetal abnormalities, it is permitted up to 24 weeks with the opinion of two doctors.
Do I need permission from my husband or parents?
If you are over 18 years of age, only your own written consent is required by law. You do not need permission from a husband, partner, or parents. If the patient is a minor (under 18), consent from a legal guardian is mandatory.
Will my visit be kept confidential?
Absolutely. Indian law strictly protects the privacy of any woman seeking an MTP. Your name and medical details will not be disclosed to anyone.
How do I know which method is right for me?
Our doctors will perform an ultrasound to determine the exact gestational age of the pregnancy and review your medical history. Based on these factors, we will recommend the safest and most effective method for you.

Do I need a follow-up appointment?

Does an MTP affect my ability to get pregnant in the future?
